The contact lens venture was single of Google's "moon shot"
projects, parting small conviction that it would always move from perception to
actuality. Then Healthcare Corporation Novartis stepped in to license the
technology so it might one day be commercialized, and the ball actually got undulating.
Now, as announced by Alphabet President and Google co-founder Sergey
Brin, that assignment will be graduating from the Google X lab along
with the Life Sciences team.

The smart contact
lenses track your glucose levels and send that information to a appliance
wirelessly, making the job of monitoring sugar levels far easier.
The Life Sciences team
has been accountable for other projects too, with a cardiac monitor and the
Baseline Study. They'll carry on the work with further life sciences companies
to move new technologies from untimely stages R&D to medical testing and, confidently
transform the way they detect, avoid, and handle diseases.
