Twitter to carry back archive for politicians' erased tweets

Back online both in Twitter declared today that it has approach to an accord to revive Politwoops, the community archive of tweets removed by .  The declaration came after a verdict previous this summer to shut down Politwoops over concerns around Twitter's API Terms of Service. The decision was met with condemnation from the Sunlight Foundation and The Open State Foundation, the nonprofit organizations following Politwoops.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey supposed the move to prohibit Politwoops was a mistake in retrospection, with The Verge reporting his regret and refocused efforts for the communal media hub. "We have a responsibility to continue to empower organizations that bring more transparency to public dialogue, such as Politwoops," said Dorsey at the company's Flight conference in October.
