Low cost jewelry can cause toxicant effects
Low cost jewelry contains thousands of times more cadmium than Health research says is safe for children.

Researchers from University of Toronto tested the jewelry and found that many items contained between 15 and 7,000 times for cadmium an amount that is not safe for children.
A shiny blue metal pendant necklace contains nearly 100 percent cadmium, pretty close to pure cadmium.Not only just cadmium, Lead is also present in some jewelry.It can also build up in the body and affect the nervous system, and can lead to learning and behavioral problems in children.
