According to a latest report released by a non-profit research group, the military and political
elites are grabbing the secure areas in Africa’s last bastions for the
elephants, setting large swaths of Zimbabwe at danger of apt fronts for the
ivory poaching. It has been reported, as compared to other countries, Zimbabwe
has sustained strong elephant populations but in the other hand, financial
penalties forced by Europe and United States have led Zimbabweans to new ways
of making money; they may turn to largely valued ivory tusks of elephants. It is
no secret that wildlife trafficking has been a great topic of discussion and a conversation issue but in
the meanwhile monopolizing the global economy, failures and crimes of
governance in Africa intimidates to wipe out the declining elephant herds.
