Meanwhile, Freking avoided the second half and gave Minnesota a positive result in a game that one of Virginia's rivals (Loudoun South) ended in history books.
On Sunday, 12-year-old Minnesota’s Maddy Freking became the first girl to play in the Little League worldwide Series in five years. She is only the sixth player in the history of the tournament.

The Little League Baseball series began on Thursday. There were 16 teams from all over the world, including eight teams from the United States, playing a double-elimination match, in bracket-style, with a champ crowned on Aug 25.
This year, the publication was released five years after the Davis Mo´ne became a nationwide sensation.
Davis, a 13-year-old phenomenon, comes to be the first girl to take a break from the Little League World Series. There was a cover for sports comic, an interview with Obama documentary Spike Lee.

Maddy Freking became the 19th girl to play in the Little World Championship in Pennsylvania, Williamsport, and on Sunday became the sixth woman to win the biggest stage of the tournament.
Freking pulled the rubber with bases loaded with one in the lower half of the second half of her team from Coon Rapids-Andover (Minnesota), which represented the Midwest. She captured an opponent from southeast Loudon, Virginia, who watched the strike three for the 2nd out earlier making a remarkable sliding play-off the mound and firing home for the last out of the inning.
Maddy Frecking started the third half and was lastly relieved as Minnesota lost 11-0.
Freking was the first LLWS pitcher since Mo’en Davis occupied the country in 2014. Her much loved baseball player is Jackie Robinson, as like Robinson, she is hoping to overcome obstacles through baseball.

"It's an honor. I also consider it is great, no matter how many boys, the 19th girl is here," she told ESPN. "For every little girl that is watching, I would say her to keep playing her game and every time do her best."
"I told her if the attention was too big, just speak to us, the American trainers, and we would try to tell people to take a break... but I warned her not to expect too much attention," said Greg Bloom, director of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Others have noticed in the world of sports, Cheryl Reeve, director of Minnesota Linux, wore a Freaking T-shirt on Friday before her team's game.
