Denza Electric Car: China is now one Step Closer to Prevalent Adoption of Green Wheels

A joint undertaking between Chinese electric vehicle makers, BYD, and German giant, Daimler, has led to an innovative technology which is none other than Denza electic car. It was a great moment of pleasure, when it was announced at Beijing Auto Show that the Denza electric car would sell for $59,100 (RMB 369,000). Denza is the latest invention that allows China to adopt green wheels. With its affordable prices, China can compete with the primary competitors while focusing on green model that is twice the cost at $117,500 (RMB 734,000). Pricing is not an obstacle though, this issue can be resolved; however, there is a need to establish battery charging infrastructure in the cities. Denza electric car would be available in the market in September 2014; the Chinese government is intended to put 5 million electric cars on the roads by 2020. The government has offered various incentives to encourage the customers but most of the Chinese drivers are still hesitant to adopt electric cars and less than 7,000 hybrid and electric vehicles were sold in first quarter of 2014.
